STARTING 4/8/17: Six Word Saturday is now being hosted by the lovely Debbie at Travel With Intent.

Six Word Saturday

Describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, try clicking here. Feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing. I love seeing what everyone does each week with their entries.

My six words:
Can't expect results without hard work

All that's necessary to participate is to post your own six words. You can post an explanation if you wish but it's certainly not required. If you play along in your blog, please add a link to the Mr. Linky. I appreciate a link back (shiny code below if you like!) but I'm not going to delete your entry or punch you in the face if you don't. Otherwise, you're welcome to leave your six words in this post as a comment.

you are right
sometimes it's hard

I wish you were wrong, Cate. I'd like my daydreaming to make me rich. So far, no luck. My other half suggests I make a plan and work toward my goals. Sheesh.

Working hard ensures
you will get results, although
you may have to wait.

Yeah, that's why it's called work! how about these six: "pride in a job well done"

That's so true, and how many people don't know that these days!

But I just hate hard work.

And when you work hard and get results, the feeling of pride is sheer magic! Maybe a bit of relief too!

I agree, although isn't it sometimes a bummer that we can't just be handed what we want? I mean, come on! :-)

Have a great weekend!

Ryan Ashley Scott said...

I just hate that. Hard work, I mean.

Gretta said...

so true! And so many people today expect big things without investing the work to produce them. That statement is SO true! Happy 6WS

So true! And I've got a couple of presents for you, Cate, over at my place today. Just a small token, to thank you for hosting SWS every week...

My favorite words, "hard work"... NOT! But you're right...dang-it.

Lindy said...

Oh my, how I know! But sometimes the results are SO worth it! Have a great weekend!

Hello Kate, could you delete my first entry? I didn´t realize when I entered it, that it was linking to a previous post. I just kept wondering why people were referring to the weather in the comments, when that was not the topic of my six words!
Anyway sorry about that. Have entered my correct one now.

Sounds a lot like working out. Which I need to do, because even when I'm eating salads and whole grain cereal, I'm still drinking mochas and Coke. Caffeine addict, me? Happy 6WS

Not sure why people are having trouble seeing Mr. Linky - he doesn't have an expiration date and I see him this morning. I'll look into it if it keeps happening.

Thanks for all the participants - still making the rounds this morning. You know, hard work and all! :)
