Six Word Saturday

Describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, try clicking here. Feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing. I love seeing what everyone does each week with their entries.

Beach Boys shouldn't sing Christmas music

All that's necessary to participate is to post your own six words. You can post an explanation if you wish but it's certainly not required. If you play along in your blog, please add a link to the Mr. Linky. I appreciate a link back (shiny code below if you like!) but I'm not going to delete your entry or punch you in the face if you don't. Otherwise, you're welcome to leave your six words in this post as a comment.

Note: Please be careful to make sure you've linked to the right post. I've had a lot of links to non-Six Word Saturday blogs lately. Just trying to cut down on the confusion. Also, if you want to link directly to the 6WS post, that's super-helpful as well. Thanks!

Cate, people had better be talking nice about my beloved Beach Boys.
Their album, "The Beach Boys' Christmas Album is a Christmas album by The Beach Boys, released on November 16, 1964" per Wikipedia.
I have a lot of those songs, my Granddaugter gave them to me a few years ago.
..
Thanks for putting up with the bunch of us again. I hope it keeps on being fun for you.

"Beach Boys shouldn't sing Christmas music" <-- Now that's just plain blasphemy! LOL! I can't think of a time when I'm ever unwilling to hear the Beach Boys warble. And you've got to admit, Brian would have made a pretty, cute Baby Jesus in the school Christmas pageant. Heck, even today, that little, pinchy mug of his could play the part. LOL!

P.S. WAIT A MINUTE! Brian Wilson in swaddling clothes?! Whoa!

Perhaps Carl...

Have to say, I concur wholeheartedly!

LOL, is there a story behind why they shouldn't? we have one of their CDs with Christmas music (and its not too bad) (but maybe its because I'm from So. California :)

Yes, the Beach Boys should NEVER ever sing Christmas songs. Only Barbara Streisland, Gene Autrey, and all the old favorites should sing the Christmas songs. :) I giggled when I read your post.

Completely agree with you. As I also feel George Michael should NEVER, EVER, EVER sing another Christmas song again either. (his song Last Christmas makes my skin crawl every time I hear it.)

Yeah, neither should The Chipmunks -- aarrgghhhh like nails on chalkboard!

So true!

Haha!! Too funny! That is quite the image if you really stop and think about it.

I'm not big on Christmas music at all, and if it isn't Trans-Siberian Orchestra then I am not interested!

Happy 6WS!

I haven't heard them, but glad...I just couldn't imagine....or wouldn't want to lol.

Lots of people shouldn't sing period.

Agree with Sassy Britches, Boufmom, and Slacker Chick.

There is good Christmas music, though. Check My Sunday Music Blogging tomorrow for three examples.

I have started Six Word Saturday on my blog to have a filler for the weekends when I don't get around to posting much. I was too busy last week, but there will be one there this week :)
