Heavy Heart

Today, I have a heavy heart. But the sun is shining and I plan to make the best of it.

Sometimes, I find myself thinking "survive this day, tomorrow will be better" and while that's not a horrible attitude, we're not promised tomorrow. So I might as well start doing something with the day I have right now.

That is such a good way to put it. We honor those who have lost their lives, by living ours. I need to remember that today because my heart is heavy too.

I felt like that last week! The first sunny, half-warm day that we had, I sat and soaked up the sun for most of the afternoon. It made me feel much better! (((hugs))) to you...

I've had that feeling a lot lately, for so many reasons. Tomorrow will be better, we just have to get through today.

*hugs*

Ohhhh Cate - I hope soaking up some rays makes you feel mo' better! My heart feels ok today but my bum is heavy and I don't want to get up and do anything!

May the Lord look kindly upon you and give you peace."

Very true. These days I'm grateful just to see the sun shining. It's downright medicinal in the midst of these grey, winter months in the Northeast.

I'm sorry you have a heavy heart. It's actually funny you should say that cause I just posted something about my feelings and a part of what you said I sort of said too. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!! *hugs*
