Because I said so - that's why!
All that's necessary to participate is to post your own six words. You can post an explanation if you wish but it's certainly not required. If you play along in your blog, please add a link to the Mr. Linky. I appreciate a link back (shiny code below if you like!) but I'm not going to delete your entry or punch you in the face if you don't. Otherwise, you're welcome to leave your six words in this post as a comment.

Oh I just love those 6 words. Making people mad 6 words at a time...AWESOME!
LOL Reading those words, I hear my mom's voice! :0P

because I said so!
My Six Words
At the height of frustration these are the only words we can use!
My mom had a shirt that said that. I hated that shirt when I was a kid. Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind having one of those myself about now... so I wouldn't have to keeping saying it.
My senitments, exactly...Happy Saturday, OK?
Oh, how many times I heard that one when I was growing up.
Cate, always the queen of logic! :)
I used to come back with "Who died and made you boss?"
ha ha!! Happy sws :)
I swore (before I had a child, of course) that I would never, ever, in a million years, say that. Yeah, right.
Silly Saturday #4 - Purdie Pyrate "The Pen's Mightier than the Sword"
What's great is that I don't even have kids so I'm just all practiced up on husbands, bosses, online peeps, random people at the grocery store, the guy in front of me at the hockey game...
Saying those six words were what my mother referred to as her "John Law Moments"!
Self-imposed power: Work it!
I just posted. :)
This, I understand.
Oh, I've been giving that phrase a workout around here lately!!
How diplomatic of you.

this meme is really growing!
betty
I wonder how many times those words have been spoken...and will be spoken in the future!
brilliant idea, i love it, i played along a couple of weeks ago, but had no idea who was hosting it... well thanks :))
That's what I'm talking about! Sometimes that's all the reason they need.
I love 6WS! I think about it all week=]
At one time that went for me and the kids. Not with Mrs. Jim.
Now the dogs, Adi and Katrin, know the rules of the Jim's House.
Cate, you are good! Happy 6WS!

Jim's Little Blog with Six Word Saturday posts
Hmmm are you having a flashback or did you recently say that?!? I've been tempted to say it! ;->
Oh Yes,...I said that a few times when my 3 kiddos were little! And my mom said it to me too years ago.
I think we are just like little kids when we question God! Can't you just imagine Him saying that to us too? Except He has a right to say it! ((smile))
Oh boy! I use those 6 words ALL the time :)
Happy Saturday!
how very maternal of you;)
andrea
p.s. i totally use that line all the time.
"Raining and blowing in Washington State"
Stop by and see me sometime.
Probably the most powerful phrase in my mommy arsenal.
BTW -- Your new banner is awesome and I am so glad that you keep your blog up to date on all vaccinations. How very responsible of you!
Happy 6WS~
love those words... only since i've been a mom though =)
have a nice weekend.
Oh, Because I said so - that's why. Some of my favorite words. As a mom!
Don't participate regularly but I"m trying!
Cate, Thanks so much for 6WS...it is really connecting a lot of people. Not to mention, I seem to speak better when I use only 6 words instead of trying to say more.
I fixed my profile so you'd get my email address now. What a great idea! I may have to do that..
Btw, the response from some of your participants has been overwhelming. I feel so loved!
I love your 6 words! And I'm guilty of saying them too. LOL
My first time here. Great idea. :)
and that should be explanation enough - i'm playing again this weekend!
The motto of motherhood! (One of them anyway.)
