diabetes kitty with sitter - first time
Today, you get more words. Remember Tonya? She was recently diagnosed with diabetes. And several months before that, we planned a weekend trip away. It's probably a good thing because we have the injections under control and it's a very short trip. Also, our cat sitter is very capable of dealing with special needs kitties. And we need a test situation before other trips come up this fall where we need to travel. But I am a wreck. Tonya doesn't like other people. I'm amazed at how well she handles her injections but I don't know that she's going to take kindly to the sitter stabbing her. She sort of tolerates the sitter under most circumstances as long as there's a healthy distance between them. I'm counting the duration of the trip based on the number of injections (5).
Ack. Hyperventilating already. Me, I mean. Wish us all luck.
Want to play along? All that's necessary to participate is to describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, try clicking here. Feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing. I love seeing what everyone does with their entries.
Each week (probably on Sunday or Monday), I use random.org to select a bunch of entries to visit. Or I visit everyone. Or even numbered entries. Or odd numbered entries. Or multiples of three. Depends on what's going on that week. In addition, please visit the person ahead of you on the list (or visit everyone if you like!). That way everyone receives at least one visit!
If you play along in your blog, please add a link to the Mr. Linky. I appreciate a link back (shiny code below if you like!). Otherwise, you're welcome to leave your six words in this post as a comment.
Please be sure to link either to your main page or (preferably) directly to the 6WS post. Links to blogs that do not contain a 6WS entry will be removed (sorry, just the button in the sidebar doesn't count as participating).

Good luck! I'm hopeless at leaving pets behind, I'd probably stuff her in my suitcase! I hope you enjoy the weekend: I ma sure she'll tolerate the sitter more when you're not there so try not too worry all the time :)

hope kitty and sitter stick together - thanks for the prompts on Saturday
I am sure Tonya will survive. Just enjoy your trip.
Oh my, I hope all goes well! Sweet kitty.
Sorry about Tonya. Hope both that you enjoy your time away and that she tolerates the kitty sitter enough to chillax. Happy Saturday!
With an AWESOME name like Tonya she is going to do great! I just hope you have relax and enjoy your trip and upcoming trips.
Hi Cate ~~ I am very glad for Tonya that she has you. Lucky cat for "this life" (of her nine). I've known people who have given up long before this amount of care.
Best wishes for Tonya while you are on the road. For both you and the sitter too!
..
I hope all goes well for all of you.
I hope it all goes well! <3
Oh gosh, I feel for you! Let us know how it goes.
Buckets full of lucky wishes coming your way, Cate. I can understand your worried!
* you're worried
cats do funny things, sometimes, and they can surprise the heck out of you by behaving just the way they need to behave. She may be fine with the sitter, and its best to assume so...the other way lies madness. (fingers and paws crossed anyway)
