new rule - no email during dinner
Want to play along? All that's necessary to participate is to describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, try clicking here. Feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing. I love seeing what everyone does with their entries.
Each week (probably on Sunday or Monday), I use random.org to select a bunch of entries to visit. Or I visit everyone. Or even numbered entries. Or odd numbered entries. Or multiples of three. Depends on what's going on that week. In addition, please visit the person ahead of you on the list (or visit everyone if you like!). That way everyone receives at least one visit!
If you play along in your blog, please add a link to the Mr. Linky. I appreciate a link back (shiny code below if you like!). Otherwise, you're welcome to leave your six words in this post as a comment.
Please be sure to link either to your main page or (preferably) directly to the 6WS post. Links to blogs that do not contain a 6WS entry will be removed (sorry, just the button in the sidebar doesn't count as participating).

Absolutely not! Dinner never lasts long enough in my house for it to make much difference, Cate. My husband's like a vacuum cleaner when it comes to foof.
I agree - there is a temptation to spend more and more time on the computer, so I think having a break at dinner time is compulsory - well, certainly in my house!
That's a great rule! I need to start implementing some technology-free hours in my household too.
It was never not a rule in our house :)
We need this rule, too—for my husband! He just can't keep from looking at his phone during dinner. Drives me crazy!
Cool rule. Cool meme.
Have a nice weekend.
It's so funny- great rule- so far even though all my children are glued to their smart phones so far, when we sit down to eat nobody uses their phone! All on their own doing!
Good rule!
When we have a family gathering everyone is on their phones or ipads and it is kind of weird!
I think they should just put them away when they come to visit!
Happy Saturday Cate!
Thanks for hosting!!!
Linda
boy! that is never allowed in our home!
TOTALLY agree!!!
First time here--thanks for the meme. And, I agree... we don't spend enough time just being together!
Good rule!
Electronics shall not interfere with dinner
6WS should help cut down on the tech time I spend :)
