Happy July 5th!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Even Canadians.

Seriously, what's with Canadians? It's like they have to be first all the time. They have Thanksgiving before us, they have Canada Day before our Independence Day. And then they do that whole "Boxing Day" which sounds way more exciting than it really is (seriously, if this girl ever celebrates something called Boxing Day, it's going to involve punching people in the face!).

And since my migraines seem to be declaring their independence from leaving me the hell alone, that's all I've got for you this morning. A rant about Canadians. Even though I <3 Canadians and their hockey and beer and Princess Andy's.

Come back tomorrow and maybe I'll have a more interesting rant about Germans post.

so i made a spelling mistake in my first comment which totally does not bode well for making my fellow canadians not look like a bunch of idiotic half wits...so whatever...i deleted it. get over it.

NOBODY wants to comment back to you about canadians?

that's bullshit, eh.

and let's not mention that i was british before i became canadian, eh?

especially if you're gonna rant about the germans tomorrow.

you know...because of *the war* and all.

eh.

We have Boxing Day here in the UK too. It's basically just an excuse to spend another day at home drinking booze and eating junk... Just making what most people do the day after Christmas anyway official. ;)

That's not how it started, but that's what it's used for these days.

Oh, and by the way... British people actually have Thanksgiving first. We don't call it Thanksgiving, we call it "Harvest celebrations" but they happen around mid September.
