Walking into the office, knowing my time here is almost over, has become excruciating. My resignation has set off a chain reaction of drama and panic and demands and complete crazy.
I put in my resignation at work too. I know how you feel, but I'm so glad I got it out of the way. Now I can focus on the future! Good luck with yours :)
I think the craziness reflects just how much you've been an important part of the office. It's going to be hard for them when you leave. Hopefully not too hard for you though. :)
I had an HR person once who refused to accept my resignation, and on the first day that I wasn't at work, she called and hassled my husband. Strange. Got your email and am trying to respond but AOL won't let me send any mail this morning. I'll try again later and thanks!
