Describe your life (or something) in a phrase using just six words. For more information, try
clicking here. Feel free to explain or not explain. Add an image, a video, a song, nothing. I love seeing what everyone does each week with their entries.
Please no ice, just be snow
We're being hit by the storm on the East coast. I want to be snowed in for a few days but PLEASE don't let it be icy. I need electric and internet!

All that's necessary to participate is to post your own six words. You can post an explanation if you wish but it's certainly not required. If you play along in your blog, please add a link to the Mr. Linky. I appreciate a link back (shiny code below if you like!) but I'm not going to delete your entry or punch you in the face if you don't. Otherwise, you're welcome to leave your six words in this post as a comment.
Note: Please be careful to make sure you've linked to the right post. I've had a lot of links to non-Six Word Saturday blogs lately. Just trying to cut down on the confusion. Also, if you want to link directly to the 6WS post, that's super-helpful as well. Thanks!
I posted. Looks like I'm first...? How totally appropriate, considering my six words. Heehee. BTW what are YOU doing up so late/early?!
ReplyDeleteOh hi, are you my feet! I started Weight Watchers this week again, Cate, hope I can stick to it! Love to you, Fhina x
ReplyDeleteI'm soooo tired of the snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat's shaping up to be a snow storm for you was less than an inch for us. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteIce storms suck, snow is better!
ReplyDeleteAnything beats minus 20 wind chill!
Fifty, fantastic, futuristic, faithful, fearless, fun!
ReplyDeleteWe have ice and snow, but very few power outages in my area. I strongly hope it stays that way for you, me, and everyone else!
ReplyDeleteHow about FURNACE PLEASE DO NOT STOP WORKING!!
ReplyDelete~wishing you much warmth and safety...here it is just rain...rain...rain...brightest blessings~
ReplyDeleteThanks Cate! This is always fun and I look forward to participating every Saturday.
ReplyDeleteCasa Hice ♥'s you!
I agree snow is much better than ice anyday.
ReplyDeleteHappy 6WS

Hear, hear! I could use some snow, but ice needs to stay far away!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I can handle snow, but I HATE ice!!!
ReplyDeleteI've got a "snow post," too!
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to get something, but nothing has materialized yet. Would be fine with me to enjoy the gray skies all day, with no precip at all!
We got hours of ice and then snow, so it's pretty but there's danger lurking just under it. Kinda scary!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything stays up and running for you Cate. Stay in, stay warm and enjoy a cozy day.
ReplyDeleteHow scary!! I hope no ice either. Stay warm and be safe out there.
ReplyDeleteHappy 6WS!
If it's coming from here, you should be ok. We got 8" or so of snow but no ice - thank you God!
ReplyDeleteyikes. i hope your electricity and internet are spared!
ReplyDeleteWishing you some warmth and sunshine from Arizona, you probably don't want to know that it is going to be in the lower 70's here all week.
ReplyDeleteHappy 6WS, Grace
The upside to an ice or snow storm is that it's usually followed by warmer temps and SUN.
ReplyDeleteso...what did you get, ice or snow???
ReplyDeleteUGH!
My post today is dedicated to a sweet friend's daughter that passed away a year ago today.... :(
Oh we are so on the opposite sides of the world and the weather!
ReplyDeleteAmen! I love the snow but I can do without ice!
ReplyDeleteSnow is great, ice not so much. Hope it stays nice for you!
ReplyDeleteMy sentiments exactly. I have no trouble with snow falling all over the grass and roofs and stuff, just keep off my roads!
ReplyDeletei'd love to be snowed in for weeks.
ReplyDeletewell years, really.

I am in South Jersey and am having the exact same thought!
ReplyDeleteI joined in-- love the concept, and happy to have the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Ice sucks! It just started snowing here in the Midwest :)
ReplyDeletebe safe!! I agree, snow over ice
ReplyDeletebetty
I know what you mean! We just got an inch of ice followed by six inches of snow.
ReplyDeleteOh I know...I will take snow instead of ice anytime!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get too much here in Kansas...just a few inches of dry snow and the roads are almost clear now.
Take Care...stay warm!

We're so used to snow 'round these parts that it actually takes an ice storm to shut us down. Snow only makes us late, but it rarely gets us a snow day.
ReplyDeleteHave a fun weekend!
I agree, the snow makes everything pretty but the ice causes traffic chaos. I think there'll be some ice here tonight though. Keep warm!
ReplyDeleteJade
I am just ignoring winter; snow, ice, whatever: totally sick of it by now!
ReplyDeleteHer hair is long and curly.
ReplyDeleteMmm, snow is lovely to walk in, but ice? No thanks. We had a whole inch of snow a couple of days ago, but we're back to rain now:(
