Here's what you do:: Describe your life (or something) in just six words. For more information, try clicking here.
Here's what you DON'T do: You don't go putting your link into Mr. Linky all willy nilly if you didn't participate. That's just plain foolishness and I won't abide by it. Don't make me give you an award!
Ok, anyways, my six words:
sometimes the little things feel big
Note: I'm really hoping Mr. Linky is working. They sent out a notice that they're making some changes to decrease their server load (and downtime). Let's cross our fingers!
This looks like fun! I will have to play next week! I'm a follower now. I Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteGreat sentiment! So right! Little things sometimes really do seem HUGE.
ReplyDeleteHappy saturday!
yes, they can and do, unless the little thing is me (I'm only 4'9") then it always feels small lol!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping those little things that feel big are GOOD rather than not so much. :)
ReplyDeleteAmen to that.
ReplyDeleteYep ain't that the truth!
ReplyDeletebest wishes
Ribbon :-)
a great truth...
ReplyDeleteand if we noticed those little things more, we would be happier...
years ago i used to keep a list titled: little things, great happiness
hugs
Don't I know it! Principal Man has taken these 6 words to a whole new level this week!
ReplyDeleteJust found this blog and I'm quite happy I did! I'll play along starting next Saturday!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day and greetings from sunny Greece
xoxo
I concur wholeheartedly. Happy Loooooooooonnnnngggggg weekend!
ReplyDeleteTrue...so very true.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful weekend!!!!
True.
ReplyDeleteSo true...because we live in the moment, those little things can surely become magnified (good and bad).
ReplyDeleteit is important that big things seem little! thanks for your comment, and -yes- my painting did smell wonderful to start with, not any more...tee hee.
ReplyDeleteLinked to both my blogs--hopefully we'll get lots of responses at The One-Minute Writer, where this is today's prompt.
ReplyDeleteI like your 6W today--meaningful and pretty. :) Yes, sometimes the little things seem bigger than the big things.
Remember the reason for Memorial Day.
ReplyDeleteHow profound for a Saturday morning! This is why I hate that saying don't sweat the small stuff, because sometimes it's all about the small stuff! Happy long weekend!
ReplyDeleteWait... you mean we can't just go around plugging our blogs to every Mr. Linky we see? I don't know... six words seems like an awful lot to ask.
ReplyDeleteThe little things. You're right about that, good or bad, sometimes they seem huge. I hope your little things are good.
Thank you so much for all the replies and participation. And yes, my little things have been both good and bad. Tis the way the world turns!
ReplyDeleteDon't sweat the small stuff.
ReplyDeleteFabulous 6WS, as always!
ReplyDeleteI'll be back later, if I find the time and inspiration, but I still wanted to give some comment love!
<3
P.s. I love the saying "willy nilly"! So funny!
I know just what you mean.
ReplyDeleteHi Cate,
ReplyDeleteI hope the little things turn out to be good things in the long run!
I'm having my first giveaway this weekend...if you'd like to enter, drop by my blog. :)
I agree! Sometimes it's a good thing and sometimes it's not.
ReplyDeleteSIX WORD SATURDAY: Half Price Books sale's calling me!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's what all men would like you to think.
ReplyDeleteGot mine up.
I'm in, I'm in, how cool!
ReplyDeleteAnd on a Saturday to boot!
=P
Yep. Sometimes they do.
ReplyDeleteWhen it's a bad thing, they eventually shrink back down to little again. When it's a good thing, they usually stay big.
First time doing 6 word saturdays, yay! I got a good one on the 3rd try, took me a few seconds to get creative.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more with the whole "little things seeming big". It happens sometimes, even if we don't want it to!!
ReplyDeleteeven more if you are a "not so well endowed" man.
ReplyDeleteand i totally wish i could let the little things go...it's like i constantly have to ask myself "is this really important in life?". that gets tiring, ya know?
I'm surprised it took so long for a couple of you to go "there" with my six words. You have no idea how much I wanted to add a disclaimer or explanation but I proudly resisted.
ReplyDeleteRead your profile. I liked those sugar daddy's too when I was young. It was one of my favorite candies...wait a minute... you were talking about the other kind of sugar dadddy... ohhh, well those aren't bad either.lol
ReplyDeleteSunshine is hot, I am too!
ReplyDelete(How's that?!)
And yep, those little things can be giant at times!
great 6ws! I'm following ya and will start this next Saturday since well...its technically Sunday here for me ;)
ReplyDeleteMy little boxes start feeling REALLY big after hauling them all day.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend!
I want to play (Six Word Saturdays) but I guess I'm slow because I've tried to figure it out and have failed - sorry - (help?)

ReplyDeleteI am so a day late for this but I love your blog carnival so much.

you are so very right sometimes either good or bad the little things do seem big. The little things in life that trouble us can ruin our day and the little things in life that are good can brighten our day and our smile
